– December 6 and 7, 2025

The Magic of Christmas will once again visit the walls of the 12th-century Cistercian Abbey!

For the fifth time, Hotel Podklasztorze will invite residents of the region and guests from all over Poland to a unique event that attracts thousands of visitors each year. It is two days full of extraordinary attractions: colorful stalls, the scent of Christmas treats, concerts, artistic performances, and meetings with Santa Claus. This is a place that transports everyone into a festive world!

The 5th Christmas Market "Light over Pilica" is created in cooperation with the Sulejów Commune, which supports this event with its experience, facilities, and great commitment of the residents.

At the forefront of these activities is Mayor Dorota Jankowska, who with passion and determination nurtures local traditions, focuses on culture, and creates a space where residents and Guests can jointly build exceptional holiday experiences.

The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Marshal of the Łódź Voivodeship – Joanna Skrzydlewska, who supports initiatives nurturing local culture, tradition, and regional heritage.
This is a great honor, emphasizing the importance of the fair as one of the most significant Christmas events in the voivodeship.

The most beautiful handicraft

Over 60 exhibitors with handicrafts and local products. Each booth held little Christmas wonders – from hand-painted baubles, through delicately scented gingerbread, to local products that will bring joy to every heart.

Medieval Art Festival

Medieval art festival and educational workshops in the field of craft and art of Cistercian heritage.

Step back to the times when art, craft, and the traditions of our ancestors were born! Medieval craft demonstrations: blacksmithing, pottery, weaving, illumination, herbalism, leatherworking. Educational workshops for everyone: learn the techniques and traditions of Cistercian craftsmen. Historical reenactments: period costumes, tools, artifacts, meetings with craftsmen. Family and educational zone. Event accompanying the Fair.
